I noticed this branch with a sort of splash variegation on it. Look like a possibility? I pulled the whole branch to the ground, dug a small trench and buried the branch and put a rock on it in hopes it will root so I can transplant.
Viburnum davidii Variegated
I've got a Viburnum nudum seedling doing that variegated thing, too, on one branch.
Please come to KY and administer the same treatment, to ensure that these treasures are enjoyed by posterity.
Hi VV,
I've seen V. davidii serpentine rooted on it's own so I'm hoping it will do the same here. I'd rather do it this way then just cutting the branch off and hoping for the best. I don't know what has caused this variegation, hopefully not a virus, but I do hope it turns out to be a nice keep'able plant.
