Please help identify this bug. Is it a nymph of some kind of stink bug? It has orange legs and antennae and a thin white margin on its "flanks" (?) The largest ones are developing an orange shield near the prothorax. There are hundreds on my sweet peppers but not on the hot. The peppers are just setting fruit and the beetles aren't bothering the plant. Are they waiting to damage the fruit? Also, I saw one that appeared to be eating a lady bug larva becoming a ladybug and it got in a fight with another one over its claim. Don't want to kill these if they're predatory but they seem to be doing nothing but hanging around waiting for something (like peppers).

Thanks Lady Ashley. You are good! It definitely looks like a species of Largus. I saw other Largus photos similar to mine but not the same and was wondering if that was it. I'll not mark this solved just yet in hopes someone knows which species Largus this is and why they are hanging out on the sweet peppers. I'll try to get a photo of a more mature one with the shield. BTW, the legs and antennae are more golden than orange. I said they were orange.
A little online research is pointing to these bugs damaging greenhouse pepper crops by partially eating the flowerbuds thus deforming the fruit. Peppers are specifically mentioned. http://www1.agric.gov.ab.ca/$department/deptdocs.nsf/all/opp4527 I don't get what was going on with the lady bug larva and the fight between the two bugs though. I don't want to Neem the plants because there is a good number of lady bug nymphs on them as well. Unlike stink bugs, the Largus move fast. They cluster in large numbers. I'll try to see if I can tap them off into a liquid to reduce the number. Any ideas on how to get rid of them without hurting my good bugs would be appreciated.
