Good shots adel!

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

Great shots Adel. Great job with the in-flight motion. Glad you're enjoying the Rufous'. I'm still at about 8-10 Anna's here and sure miss the Rufous'.

Touch down (can't tell if it is an Allen's or a Rufous.

Love the swan dive, adel.

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Adel, that 'Swan dive' he has his tongue sticking out too. What's a great capture. Wished my camera can capture photos like it.

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

Adel, great shot of the swan dive-those are hard to get. The only real way to tell if you and I are seeing an Allen's is to check the spread out tail besides the green on the back (which could also be a younger Rufous so the tail is the only true test). The Allen's have very narrow, pinlike outer tail feathers where the Rufous' are much wider at the end of the tail.

Here's a young Anna's that was watching for an attack.

I was excited to find two Rufous hummers at my feeder this morning. Still trying to catch a photo of them. The rain brought lots more hummers to my feeders-at least 15 or more! I'm still hoping more will arrive. Here's one feeder.

That group shot looks like they are having quite the water cooler conversation.

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

How delightful the view. Duc, wonderful photos!

PERTH, Australia

Wonderful, duc. I love the one where it's shaking off the raindrops.

Manzanita, OR(Zone 8b)

My hummers are continuing to enjoy the fountains early in the morning.
