Evergreen Wisteria in Texas

I am trying to grow evergreen wisteria from seed that I bought via the internet. They have been potted for two weeks but nothing so far. I am keeping them moist and the seed have plumped in size. How long should I wait? The seed were a few years old, maybe they are too old. Also, do they grow well in pots?
