Was just in Turkey and oh my, were there some scary looking bugs over there! What on Earth is this one????

i agree with LadyAshley, looks like a grasshopper that someone squished. poor thing. and yeah, a lot of the warmer countries get strange bugs, even our own southern united states get scary looking insects and arachnids. the warmer it gets the crazier looking the animals/insects get. just think about the massive centipedes of south america that grow to more than a foot long...scary scary creatures.
