My husband keeps finding these pesky things in our pool. Anyone have any idea what it is? Looks like a red ant with wings or a small wasp of sorts. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!!

The bad news is, they're definitely carpenter ants.
So be sure to check around your home for rotting wood, and damage to your home!

Ugh. Well that sucks! But yeah... I bet you're right. Looks just look what we've got floating in our pool. Thankfully, we have our home treated for pests (inside and out) on a quarterly basis. We will definitely mention this to our guy the next time he treats!
Thanks for the help!!!
