After posting the following, I discovered that the grower already stratified the seeds. So now I'm planning to simply plant them outside. If anyone has any particular advice, that would be great, since I hear bunchberry is hard to grow, but I think I'm set now.
I bought seeds to grow bunchberry plants. I've searched the web for info on growing this from seed. Some websites say cold stratification is needed; others say not. Some say to sow indoors, others say out. The grower who sent me the seeds said to plant it outside after all danger of frost has passed, and to be patient, of course. Does anyone have experience or knowledge of this as it would pertain to Massachusetts, zone 6, in late Spring?
Many thanks,
Shayna
PS: I'm mostly a veggie gardener, new to planting shrubs, and brand new to DG.
