i live in michigan and have found several of these bugs in my living room over the past few days. i have small children and need to know if it is dangerous... i mostly notice them at night. when it is dark and the lights are on, they fly in and out of the light fixtures in a rough way to the point of knocking dust out of them. when i turn out the lights, they fly to the lit up tv which is a much easier place to catch them than up in the ceiling lights. if they're not flying around, they are camped out on the ceiling or the shade on the window. this is our 3rd summer in this house and we've never seen them before. we live in an area with lots of animals and bugs but this one is new for us...
