CLOSED: Wierd creature

Prosperity, SC(Zone 7b)

I will have to try and take a camera that works with me but I have encountered a bug I have not encountered before.
When this little creature first was found on my shirt i thought it to be a big tick, but then it flew away so that id was of course incorrect. This bug is about the size of a large ladybug with a grayish/army greenish wingcovering. And again it looks like a tick at first glance. Thought maybe someone would know from the description...I am working on borrowed and limited range cameras right now I think mine has found its way into the black hole of a toy box my youngest has...:0)
I am in SC by the way if that helps as well.

With no picture its really kind of hard to tell =/.
Try this:

See if anything looks familiar to you?

I know and since my good cam has mysteriously vanashed, it is hard for me to get an identifiable pic...

I found a large number congregating, mating, and getting eaten by another large stink bug looking creature(he didn't want his picture taken and flew off) on my Sunflowers...ugh...I am not noticing much damage at this point but if the numbers grow and this is a bad bug...oh no.

You might want to ask over here: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/f/pad/all/ They are 'up' on the plant pests and it looks like a busier forum.
