Here is Dr. Ruppel beginning his fantastic show for me.

Mm-mm-m Love Dr. Ruppel. Does anyone know the name of the kind of maroon one similar to this one that is blooming now? Found one in my friends (new to her) garden.

Love that Dr. Ruppel.

The honeysuckle nearly at its peak...the evening fragrance is intoxicating. This particular plant, I rescued from a lot about to be bulldozed about 20 years ago.

"All that Jazz" I pruned it back pretty hard this year but it has rebounded nicely..

Rhododendron sinogrande- About 3 years old has not bloomed yet but it makes a statement when new growth appears

Very nice pictures ladies.

Welcome back, Willow! You must be all moved and getting settled in.

Union, WA(Zone 8b)

Hi mhf, No not all moved or settled in yet. This is a slow process because DH doesn't adjust well to strange things. Will get pictures soon. Haven't forgotten your siberian iris either. Will mail it soon. Send me your address on dmail please.

I just love this Bougainvillea. It is probably 4 years at my house and loves to go out in the sun in June and get planted. Then I dig it up and bring it in my sun room for flowers almost all year. Lovely plant.

Pee Gee is kind of sweet, especially for the millions of butterflies, dragon flies, bees and many unknown buggies.

Such a beautiful garden. Lovely plants. Do you prune the bougainvillea often to keep it short?

Kalispell, MT(Zone 4b)

Yes but only the long branches. It stays pretty compact with the root trim I do each dig up.

Lots of you have seen my begonia baskets in the past. Here is the best one this year, (and it does seem late like everything else.)

And my Lantana is particularly happy this fall, too. It overwinters in the greenhouse.

I picked the very last of my blueberries yeterday. This picture was taken a month ago and the bush has probably provided us with at least a flat of berries this year.

Very nice! I had 1 lonely blueberry on my bush. It was rather comical.

Lynn ~ Check to see if the birds ate them. They stripped mine clean once they were ripe, although I did get a few. Next year I will put netting over the bushes.

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

Good idea. I thought I just had a strange little blueberry bush.

Vashon, WA(Zone 8b)

My chickens got loose and had a blueberry feast with my lower growing Sunshine Blue shrubs. These ripen a bit later, and I had been having a handful of blueberries every day when I came home from work. Too bad for me, but it sure was funny seeing "Sir Clucksalot" the rooster jumping to reach a ripe berry.

Buckley, WA(Zone 7b)

How cute! I have chicken envy. Joey says no to that one.

Your begonia basket is fabulous! You must have the perfect place for that one.

(Sharon)SouthPrairie, WA(Zone 7a)

I think it gets mid-day sun and is against the garage so the reflected heat probably adds something good. They are always in the same location. They were good last year too.

Village of Port Clem, Canada

My Blueberry bushes were loaded. The wind blew about half of them off, but we did get several good feeds.
Can't protect them from the wind here, it comes from both directions.
