Okay, so, it's not REALLY a monster...but I was giving a tour of my veggie garden (such as it is), and this thing dive-bombed my husband (LOL-flew right into his face!) and then settled on some tomato vines that I had in a wheelbarrow (getting ready to put in compost).
the 'monster' was about three to five inches long, and once landed on the vines, then walked around (creepy as HECK!).
yes, I'm a wimp...i'm getting over it, but this thing FREAKED ME OUT!
I tried to find it in 'bug files', and did a quick search here, but I don't know if this is an insect or a bug, and I certainly don't even know what type of bug so I can start looking....
