Nice, the Cardinal woke me at 4:05 am today singing like crazy, and the baby robin was in the elderberry bush 10' from my bedroom window this morning. They made sure I was awake. ☺
- Always like the Bluejays, as long as they decide to build a nest on my neighbors property, that way I don't get attacked when they guard their young!
Miscellaneus Shots 2011 - No. 3
Beautiful wedding photos, Jen! Blue jays are noisy, but they keep the feeders interesting!
ohh, pretty guy
Pretty!
Looks like a Question Mark.....
nice catch WC!!... my guess is they don't nest close by WC.. never had a problem with getting attacked.. but then again.. they usually hawk me when I go to fill the peanut feeder.... some will come as close as 5 feet.. because they know I will toss one over to them while I fill
That's good, - that's a 'friendly fly-by', if they were out to peck you they'd get a lot closer than that!
They're fearless! lol!
nice!!
Indeed a question mark

Ohh Wow! you found it! - and it's called a question mark! LOL!!!
- Thanks, this is too cool! ☺!!
(- I thought you were kidding Robindog! lol!!)
Thought she meant she did not know. Duh!
Yeah! lol!!
LOL
One of my fave musical group names is Question Mark & the Mysterions!
I thought Marilyn was making a joke. Sorry, Marilyn!
LOL.....no, I'm always curious about the nomenclature of anything flying....birds or butterflies! Bill, that's a lovely photo....should be framed....
Thanks, and thanks also for the ID as well, - next time maybe, when I get a sharper image. I was lucky I got this one at all. I recognize it now with the pics of the older butterflies, the pattern changes with age.. I never knew it's name. The very young one in Jen's link is nice with the blue edging, that would be a rare shot!
Looks like it gets very hot. (lol)

Victor may like that...
It is....have no idea what it is if it's a moth......if it's a butterfly, might be a checkered white, but they are rare in the east.....
Cool, Sherrie! Might buy it. ^_^
Oh man poor fairy!!
