Orange/Red & Black bug on my young Peach Tree

Youngsville, LA

This is a first for me seeing this one. Looks like some type of beetle...quite small, and there are tons of them on the tree and have seemingly popped up over night. I don;t really see any damage yet, but I'd like to find out what they are to see if I should let them hang out or get rid of them...and if so, how.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can identify these guys!

I have these same bugs on my dessert willow. They have caused blooms to die before they open and leaves are falling off now. This is the only photo I have found on google of the same bug. I found a nest of babies at the base of the tree. I’ve sprayed what I could get to but they are all over the tree - all the way to the top. They like to line up on the trunk in the shade when it’s really hot so hopefully I can get to more of them then. The under body is also orange/red. I wish I knew what they were.

This is a shiny flea beetle, Asphaera lustrans; it does not appear to be a serious pest species - https://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/go/2721/
