last night we were outside and this bug flew to the light and landed on the door.. we have no clue what it is and never seen it in this area before. so if anyone knows the name of this insect please let me know.

I think you have a Mayfly of some sort, a member of the Ephemoptera.

Definately an Ichneumon Wasp, not a Mayfly, but I have no idea which species.
