Signing up for a tossed salad with Rasberry vinegarette and plate of fresh fruit. Since we have electricity there, maybe a casserole to cover my 2 guests.
I will bring a dessert, probably a blackberry cobbler if the berries continue to ripen as expected. If not, I'll use fruit from the freezer, but a cobbler nonetheless.
I will bring Italian sausage casserole.
I'd like the bring chips and dip/salsa
I can make potato salad as well (just remember I don't make mine sweet).

I'll bring a dessert.
I will bring a vegetarian cassarole
Is anyone in my area interested in car pooling?
Cheryl
Josephine, let me know which category you're short on when the time is near, and I'll fill in.
Hey, y'all, do you remember me? I just hated that I missed the spring RU in Arlington and didn't get to see everyone. Sp I'd really like to come, if you don't have anything against strangers. :)
I suffered a lot of plant losses during our week of 8-degree temps. I don't think I have a lot of plants to bring, but I'll check out the trade lists and post what I can. As for food, sign me up for a dessert. Door prize will probably be something like homemade compost. For the first time ever, I think I actually have some to share.
Oh, yeah, I should've said, I will probably bring something chocolate. But, well, much as I love chocolate, I'll prolly spend most of my time on Pat's blackberry cobbler.
Can't wait to meet you pbtxlady. I'm with you about anything chocolate AND the berry cobbler.
Can't wait to meet you, too, Sybil. So nice of you to have us all out to your place. I especially feel that way since I missed the Arlington RU and didn't get to see everyone.
Wow.. wish I had seen this before! :) My sister lives in Joshua!
Unfortunately, I'll just be getting back from the VA RU on May 31st, so not sure that the finances would let me run down to TX the next weekend.. dang!
But I'll be watching for another time.. would be so neat to meet some new DGers :)
Have fun!!
Yay Pattie!! Glad to see you found your way back!
I posted the food, please check it out

I will bring some fried chicken
O.K. Tina I will add it to the list.
Hey Clan....if your sister gardens, send her the info and we will make her welcome. She won't go home empty handed as we tell everyone. And next time you are in TX do look some of us up and we will share a coffee at the least.
It will be nice to see you again too Patty....if you can get Mama Jack and Sylvia from out your way to join us too.

I've been trying to get Mama Jack to come too. I will talk to her on Wednesday this week and see if she is available for the 5th. I know that she is busy with coops though.
My friend Carol will be coming!
Great Anna!
I will ask Barb too. I dunno about Sylvia. I sent her an e-mail a couple of weeks ago and didn't get an answer, so not sure what she's up to. I'll send another one, though.
Patti I never got an email from you ... I haven't heard from you in years.lol
Yes I am coming! Are there door prizes? I got what I bought for the previous swap. I dont have any plants other than few few Hosta liners.
I am so upset I lost almost half of Hostas to some weed killer.
DO ANYONE REMEBER ME TALKING ABOUT THE ORANGE STUFF i WAS TALKING ABOUT LAST YEAR? IT WAS TO KILL THE WEEDS IN MY HOSTA GARDEN. I was getting ready for the editor of the DMN to come visit my hosta garden. I also spread the cedar mulch. I cant remember the name.
anyway this is off topic I am going to start a thread.
I will probably bring my fresh ham or lasagna
Finally she surfaces!! LOL! Glad you are going to make this one Sylvia!
Hooray!! Sylvia's going to be there!
I will bring a tray of roasted vegetables.
My cobbler will be apricot. Sadly, it appears the racoons have enjoyed the blackberry patch and last week's hail did not help.
Darn those racoons !!!
Well, Pat, apricot is good too!
Aw, Sylvia, surely not YEARS. :) A couple of weeks ago you sent out an e-mail about hostas, and I replied asking what you have this year. I guess you didn't get it. Sorry about your hostas--makes me sick just thinking about it. But I'm glad you're going to make it to Burleson. It'll be great to see you.
Yummy apricot and roasted vegetables! My friend Carol can't make it unfortunately...does that mean I can eat her portion?
No, her portion of vegetables will be mine!!!
With all this talk of veggies, I am going to ask Herman to do some of his potatoes, carrots and onions to bring since we have electricity there. Still bringing a small fruit plate orange/kiwi/ grapes and a tossed salad.
Wow I am jealous as I would love to come and see all of you!!! Maybe next time. Have a Great time.
Everyone, it's with a sad heart that I must say that I will not be able to make it to the RU. :( Mark's been having some medical problems for the past 6 weeks that the doctors can't figure out. I had to take him to ER today (per the doctor's orders) where he was admitted after several blood tests, an abdominal CT scan, and an abdominal ultrasound, and 5 hours of waiting in the ER. There's just way to much "stuff" going on at home with him for us to be able to attend this time. I haven't even had time to dig plants and get them potted up. I'll miss you all!
