Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm cursed this spring! I was out of town for the Arlington RU, out of town for the east Texas RU, and I'll be in Oklahoma the day of the Burleson RU. I guess I'll see y'all in the fall.

Carla

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Bummer Carla...hope you have some me time in all of that running.

Dallas, TX

Richard and I will come.

Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)

Josephine, LOL, I think you posted Sybil's address in the first post ;)

Count me in too :)

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

I can make it this time. Sorry you won't be there Carla. As of now, it is only me.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

I thought that was the area not the actual address.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

That's an exact rural address. It tells how many miles from the beginning of the county road. The implementation of the 911 system some years ago required counties to calculate every country address this way.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Oh boy!!, why hasn't Sybil said something? I am sorry I will edit it out now.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

My fault, I thought that was just an intersection she gave us, yes it needs to be removed. She is going to send out directions to the people that are on the final sign up list.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

It is gone now, I doubt that many people realized it was the actual, except people who know about those things, I guess.

Cleburne, TX(Zone 8a)

I'll volunteer to work the sign-in desk, etc., if no one else has already spoken for that job.

Glenna

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks, Glenna. Sign-in job is yours.

Josephine, don't worry about it. I did see it, but I forgot about the edit feature and thought there was nothing could be done, and I didn't want you to feel bad about it.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you Sybil.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Sybil,
I don't have but about 10 name tags left, but if you want the DG format, I can email it to you. Or you can just use the blank name tags.
Also, since you are doing door prizes, I will bring the wooden numbers for the drawing; unless you are planning something different.

Rancho Santa Rita, TX(Zone 8a)

BEWARE this is not a plea for your
pity : ir is just the fects from my
perspecrive.....

One of my dreams since I first
met Dave's Garden has been
to go to a RU .... but life has
just kept getting in the way ...

I would LOVE ro attend this
one but due to hospitalization
and beginning dialysis I dont
have very much I will be able
to bring.

Will try to find gardening
magazines, erc if you are
interested ...

Just longing for great gardening
companionship and conversation

.... so if you will have me ?

Cleburne, TX(Zone 8a)

Sheila - Sybil,

I will be glad to do any of the computer work, printing name tags, signs for the trade tables, etc. Finally an area I have some expertise in. LOL.

Glenna

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Of course we will love to have you, so please come and join us.
Josephine.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Baja, just bring yourself (& maybe some food) and you'll be just fine!! You won't leave without plants, I can guarantee you!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Baja...It will be great to meet you.! Hope you feel like making it when the time gets here. I don't envy the treatments you are having to endure.

Glenna.....LOL! You go girl! Just let Sybil answer on that one since she is the one in charge. I am just glad to pass the duty this time! LOL!

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

I'm planning to be there, likely by myself this time. (Our local volunteer firemen have their big barbecue fundraiser at noon that day, and Robert will be attending that.)

It is about time you got to just enjoy a RU and not be running here and there taking care of everything the whole time !!

Rancho Santa Rita, TX(Zone 8a)

Wow thanks guys !

I will work on coming

me plus one

Will bring something yunny
wgen i figger what i can
have now without being
tenpted by somethinh
prohiibited

Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)

I will do all the picture takin' this time :)

Baja, could you give us all a brief rundown on what is prohibited for you. I have an idea as one of the girls I work with has kidney issues, but if you could give us a better idea. I am looking forward to meeting you as well :)

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I have been in contact with pbtxlady (Pattie) and if she can get her act together, she might be there!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

That sounds great Stephanie...about time she surfaced again! LOL!

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

Glenna, you are a girl after my own heart! Name tags, trade table names--all computer needs stuff for that day is yours, and thanks a million. Please get back to Sheila about the name tags and whether or not you want what she has left and/or the format for them.

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

Baja Blue, I would count it such an honor if you choose to attend this RU. I know energy is in short supply for you right now, and you have to pick your activities carefully. I think you will be very comfortable. The pavilion has fans, but if the heat is an issue, you are welcome to come in the house to have a/c.

This is such a sweet group of people. I've only been to three RUs, and really know so little about plants and gardening, but the DG folks are very welcoming and helpful.

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks, Catzgalore, for taking over the picture duties.

Sheila and Josephine will be our queen bees at this RU, just lazing back in their chairs with the rest of us seeing to their every need--palm fans, iced tea, the best door prize, another dessert......................lol

(But until then, keep up the good work with our links, girls.)
