Kent Beauty Oregano

I received a Kent Beauty plant for Mothers day and I noticed a lot of the branches around the edge of small roots at the bottoms. Can I just snip these off and put them in their own potting soil or should I bury them to allow for more root growth?

I am not sure what you do to propagate but I have to tell you that is such a gorgeous plant. I just love them. There are a couple others like them. Can't think of the names right now. High Country Gardens I think has one and Bluestone I think has the other.

Good for you. Enjoy it.

Amethyst falls and something cascading are two I can think of. The local nursery has in the first.

If there are several of them, try different things like taking a couple off, put one in soil, and one in water, then leave the others and cover them with soil and water them. Might even put a root tone of some kind on them.
