CLOSED: Is this a bee fly?

I caught this buzzing around my coreopsis today. It has an extremely long proboscis and looked furry. Kind of slow when it was buzzing around. It really seemed to like the flowers.

I have never seen anything like that.

Yep definitely a bee mimic of some type.
