Convention is next week and Helene will be there towards the end. so looking forward to it.
Just don't know what would be a good resolution other than Rob just sending out another batch. It is not as they don't have Violets. Or perhaps work it out - leaves and some plants. Just a thought.

Just so that you guys can see that I do get packages with no problems to this address. Today I received 6 chimera AVs that I purchase off of eBay which is the big box; also some Princess lily tubers that I got from Sandy here in DG (that's the smallest box) and some daylily fans that I got from eBay as well. I wish that I could see the shipping label on that box that was sent from Rob. I never had an issue with the post office before.
Now to open my packages.

They do seem pretty healthy and these are my first chimeras. I checked to make sure that they weren't leaf propagated as I read somewhere that they don't come true from leaf and they do have indeed some older stem with cut leaves in the soil.
Well Rob said that he would try to find out with his postmaster what happened to the package and that he would get back to me afterwards. This was on the 10th and I haven't heard back from him but you guys said that he was more likely at the show in NJ so I might not hear from him until Monday. I hope that by Monday everything will be sorted.
remember he has the avsa convention this week so he might be a week later too

Still, even if Rob is gone, there should be a system in place for the people at the nursery to ship replacements . . .
I'm not too happy at this point. It will be a month on the 19th since I placed the order. Almost a month and still no plants.
the AVSA convention is from the 15th to the 22nd.
Chances are you can pursue this more, only after next weekend. These are large greenhouses but small managing staff. I have been to Lyndon Lyon and saw this first hand. sorry that you are having this situation.
I had similar with a sewing table, however, company sent replacement pieces quickly did cost $$$ for carpenter because he came but couldn't do anything - pieces were heavily damaged.

So I'm anxiously awaiting for this Monday to come around. Hopefully by now Rob will have been able to figure something out. This has been a very long week. On the flip side we signed a contract to purchase a house so I might have more gardening room very soon !!!!

I'm supposed to get new plants shipped this week with signature confirmation. Though I won't be getting all of the plants that I originally ordered. Rob told me that whatever doesn't get sent to me I'll get reinbursed for. More likely than not I won't be getting the plants that I waiting for weeks to get. Gosh this is good news yet very frustrating. I waited some 5 weeks for some plants to become available before getting them. I told Rob that if the plants not available could be shipped once they were available and that I would pay for them to be shipped and he said that it couldn't be done. Well at least the previous box was sent back to him and he saw that I wasn't trying to be slick. I'll let you guys know who came in when I get the package hopefully by Thursday.

This is such an unfortunate situation. I hope that you will get it resolved as good as possible. The only thing I could offer are some mini Sinningias or cuttings of other Gessies. I'm not exactly what you would call good at growing Violets...

It is alright everyone. I am praying that they'll get here tomorrow. I can't wait to see what plants am I getting and which ones will I have to wait for. On the other hand I've got my 3 new orchids today. I'm soo excited !!!!

Well my package came in today !!! I just finished unpacking everything and I'm VERY VERY VERY emphasis on VERY happy !!!! I got all but one of the plants that I wanted to all of the newer varieties as well as the minis and the trailers came in. The packaging was great and I really couldn't be more pleased. The one that I didn't received was Black Hawk. I have to say that after all of this ordeal that I've gone through I had given up on them but getting the replacement and the so very healthy plants means that I'll very likely be shopping from them again. Thanks to everyone that has endured my ranting and frustration but today it's a day of celebration.
