Anybody not watching Survivor?

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

I am just curious how many here don't watch survivor? I know I don't ,never watched the other's and not watching this one my son however never misses it.Am I the only one that doesn't watch it?

MD &, VA(Zone 7b)

not me. have never seen a single episode of any of them.

(Zone 5b)

I've never seen any of them either and don't really have any interest in them.

northeast, IL(Zone 5a)

I've never seen one either. Don't watch too much TV, I'm usually lurking here!!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Not watching it at present...

....But it's on tape for when DH gets home from work. ;o) We completely ripped the first one without ever seeing it. But then we caught the last episode of that one and became interested. We watched almost all of them last season, and plan to again this year. We don't have cable and it just so happens CBS is the one station we can get in clearly enough to videotape if we use an antenna. Hmmmmmmmmm!

Plymouth, PA(Zone 5b)

I never seen any of them either. I dont do much TV anyway.
tamlamb

Brewers, KY(Zone 6b)

not watching, I have only seen it once when it first started.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

I myself don't watch it eaither, and didn't watch any of the other's eaither. They seem to be popular shows but it just ain't my thang. Now on the other hand I am watching "The love cruise" and plan to watch the new Temptation Island that is suppose to air next month. I guess to each it's own!

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

Hmmm...well, I confess, I like to watch the first episodes, then get away from it for a couple wks, then check back in...repeat, then see the grand finale! It seems I am living an adventure that way...as a matter of fact, I've thought of trying out for the show! Hmmm...wonder what that would do to TV land! (Never cared for those other "reality shows" tho...very pathetic!)
**By the way, I didn't see it tonight..watched the Prez's speech and shelled butter beans...but I'm sure I'll easily pick up on it next wk if I get the chance!

i have never seen a single episode of any reality show...i think they all suck (and I'm being kind) :-) i just dont get it...that stuff isnt reality. I can see how some of it is interesting for people but they went too far with shows like CHains of Love, Maiden Voyage, and now this 5th Wheel stuff. I like comedy like Friends and Fraiser and ER ok, ER isnt so much comedy...but its still good stuff!

Oh, and does anyone remember Fraggle Rock? CLASSIC!

Newark, OH(Zone 5a)

Don't watch it either, can't afford cable :o(
Even if I had it though, I don't think I would be very interested in it at all.

Ewing, KY(Zone 6a)

I have caught some of them when my son was home and was watching them but never really got into it.I know lots of people love it but I could never get into it either. Yeah Molly like you said to each his or her own.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Never watched any of them - just don't get the attraction of them :) Missed ER tonight, too - we went out to dinner to support the funds going to NYC, and got home too late to do anything but get kids ready for bed :(

Grand Prairie, TX

well vols I got it on tape if ya want it!
What I tell my hubby is... "gotta go shopping...support the economy!!"

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

gv, ER is still on!!!!!!!

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

No, I don't watch it. I never watch any of those series kinds of things. We watch the History Channel, HGTV, sports, the Learning Channel, that kind of thing. Lots of stuff runs several years and we never see it. No game shows or soaps either.

Hughesville, MO(Zone 5a)

I've never had the slightest interest in any of the shows. Neither does my hubby or grandson.

Silver Lake, OH(Zone 5b)

We don't watch it either. My mind is like a sponge and I don't want to absorb that stuff. I would rather, as Jefferson Airplane says, "feed my head". hehehe

I did get sucked into "Temptation Island" and got so grossed out we said NO MORE REALITY TV!

Really we try not to watch much of the TV at all.

Neither Dh or I watch the crazy program and never have. I do love the CSI that is on afterwards though...it is my favorite show.

Donna

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I don't watch much tv, as dh and I don't like the same kinds of shows, and he has control of the remote. Therefore, I'm usually here instead.

well depending on what time zone you are in, ER is still on. it was a good episode. oh yeah Janiejoy I forgot about Temp. Island...I didnt watch that either... but that was such a devious little plot they put on for that show...kinda like 5th wheel. that british lady on Weakest Link reminds me of a teacher I once had in school....scary, but then once you get on their good side, they aren't so bad. they are usually the ones who can put up with the clas clowns the best because the shoot it right back at ya.
I know, WL isnt a reality show but my fav is Millionaire... sometimes it's like-were you JUST BORN YESTERDAY?? then others, it's like, ok, they just made that one up so they'll use a lifeline.

Brooklet, GA(Zone 8a)

Me either. It just didn't appeal to me. I would rather be here at daves. More down home relaxation here, don't you all think.

Thrusday is the only night I really watch tv and it is on nbc. Friend, will and grace, just shoot me, and er. I dont really like all the reality shows some how they just seem un real!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Well Doll,
You know I don't watch it. LOL Either working or working. :) Now, Craig and Morganne on the other hand! They don't miss it if they have a choice, then have kind of a secret language about this person and this person and I kind of look at them cross eyed. Hmmm, guess it is a lot like me talking about my DG family. LMBO

New Paris, OH

I with you sprouts28-Must see TeeVee night.

I have caught parts of the occassional episode of the past survivors but I never got sucked into watching the series.

Spring Hill, FL(Zone 9a)

The DW likes to watch them so I have seen snatches from the 2 previous ones but how can they call them "reality" shows from the wilds when there are 10 sound trucks and 200 technicians on the site taping everything that happens? At that rate you almost have to believe in professional rasslin' fer gosh sakes

Laurel, DE(Zone 7a)

I don't watch much TV at all except discovery or the history channel. I think there is little entertainment in any TV show these days, personally I wish they would put together another Ed Sullivan or the honeymooners or find another Red Skelton!

Toadsuck, TX(Zone 7a)

NO Way! We like to watch Baseball or Hockey, after O'Reilly of course.

Washington, DC(Zone 7a)

What's Survivor? :)

Never watch it.

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

I'm like Zeb: "What's Survivor"?????

Nope. Don't and never have watched Survivor. I do watch ER tho and I can't believe I missed it last night. That's what happens when you spend too much time at DG. CoCoSeed, you need to fill me in on what happened on ER last night. Yes, I also watch the'Weakest Link'.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

oh CoCo, it was good!!! But the ending they built up to wasn't what I was expecting. If CoCoSeed didn't watch, email me:)

NOT ME! I have to have my weekly fix of-Joey,Nina and Finch,
Just Jack and Karen and then theres ER! I can sneak a peak at survior when schwardts is on!
But I didt last night I used that time for a "most" beautiful walk in the garden....the birds were singing and munching up the sunflowers and other seeds, very calm and peaceful and the sunset-WOW-made me bow and humble myself in front of the Master!
But survior will be there next week and next week.......!
The warmth slips away from me here in the North!

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

Not me !!!I have no clue whats on primetime.I'm excited watching "freinds" reruns on fox, they're all new to me!!!

markleysburg, PA(Zone 5a)

Ny viewing is the weather channell and cnn nowadays. Never watch that stuff and I must be the only paramedic who never watched 911=viewed about two minutes one nght and said this is so fake and same for ER.

Efland, NC(Zone 7a)

So glad to hear that haighr...I too am a big Red Skelton fan and still watch the old re-runs...ditto for the Honeymooners, Andy Griffith Show, and old Westerns! My DD and I also tend to make a habit of watching the Disney movie on Sunday evenings (just like my family used to when I was a youngin'.) As for all these "reality" shows, as I said, I'll watch a few episodes of Survivor, probably cuz I'm an outdoorsy type, however, all those other ones are really out in space...have never seen them. (Course now I also get my share of adventure watching Wild Kingdom!)
