Blooms 2011 #3

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I like it too. Same for paperbark maple, which I have.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

We have a RiverBirch next to the garage. DO NOT ever put one in that proximity to your driveway.
It sheds all year round.
Winter, small and medium limbs,everywhere.
Spring,Catkins that track into the house and blow into the garage,
Late spring ,seed huske that need to be swept everyday. They also track into the house.
Summer. dry weather makes the leaves drop,
Fall. guess what,leaves.
Beautiful to look at but should be in a field of their own.

Is that the purple one? Mine is blooming now, but the flowers are tiny.....that hellebore is a beauty! Does anyone grow vernal pea? Short & bushy, it's blooming now.....I saw one next door to my friend's condo, and one at WFF, but I liked the one I couldn't have better.....
