Success with Eremurus?

Pixy, I really love that photo! What are the other plants in the pic? Including the blue stuff in the background? Your gardens look magical.

I covet Eremurus but have not yet tried any. So how did everyone's do this (crappy) summer?

They are a bit out of proportion in height with the rest of the "Peach of a Garden".

That has really filled in. Looking good

Mid-July

Now it has wound down and not much in bloom. A lot of individual things looked nice like the callas but did not have an overall impact. I have dug up most of the callas and will store them this year since otherwise they come into bloom so late. If I let them come into bud in pots and then plant them in the ground they do better. The ones in my "Dark Side Garden" came up late and did not even bloom at all. I dug them up as well. Some plants will be larger and some have been eaten by the gophers.
