if they are planted close to each other? I have only grown one variety at a time so I really don't know.

yes they will cross breed if same vine family just different colors. like i nils will cross with i nils and so on.

Yup! That's where some of the new cultivars come from ... they were originally crosses that were kept isolated during future grow-outs after being crossed the first time. It allows them to become stable crosses. I hope you get something new and very nice!
