Marie - Nice one! I currently have I. purpurea vines growing outside too! Hope to have some I. nils blooming in the very near future outside as well! Congrats on your first bloom of the season! I agree ... it looks like Grandpa Otts~

That's sweet! This is my first year growing MG's. I just bought a pack of simple old timey Heavenly Blues, but they are climbing like crazy, and have been blooming for 3 or 4 days now! Yay!
