This was in my house last night and i would like to know what type is it?

IS it poisonous? i live in uk

It resembles a brown recluse which is a very bad spider. I'm sure others will know for sure what it is. Good Luck...

Brown recluse spiders do not occur in Europe. This appears to be a spider in the genus Tegenaria (the spinnerets are visible in your photo). There is a common house spider, T. domestica, which occurs in both Europe and North America; yours is probably this spider. See the following for more information:
