CLOSED: Carpenter or Bumble?

I need some help with this bee. I think it is either a Carpenter Bee or a Bumble Bee, but not sure which or even if it might be something else. I'm pretty sure the other critter is a Harvestman and not a true spider. But, if I have that wrong, please let me know

If its shiny, its a carpenter, if its hairy its a bumble.

I think the abdomen is shiny. This photo is the closest I got to seeing the underside of the abdomen. Or is it the topside that I need to see? I'll see if I have any other shots that show the top of the abdomen.

Here's a side view blown up as much as I could and still have some detail left.

It looks hairy here...
