HA! No, he seems to be the magic charm. He saw the first Rose-breasted grosbeaks too.
2011 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds Vol. 1
LOL with you gp, agreed with you. NOT a hummer alright!
Love that plant Lily!!
Nice shots GP and Burd.
I can safely say that the Hummers have arrived. They really love the triple feeder I bought at Lowe's and there seems to be less fighting...I guess because
there is too much area to cover.
More rain and gloomy weather but wanted to get some shots to show you.

Burd, I love your hummer shots-great job.
Rose, that feeder is awesome! Love all your hummer shots!
Unbelievably wonderful number of hummers! Yes, bowing to THE queen. lol.
I don't think I'll bow, I think I'll just make a trip to Conway MO with a really big cage and some ninja camouflage.
I have not seen one since the first sighting on Saturday, and you know what, I don't blame them… pretty chilly right now.
It isn't quite as cool here, Mrs. Ed. But we're getting our sweaters back out once again. It's going to be in the mid 30's F. tomorrow. Geeeez. It was like summer heat yesterday. I haven't seen mine either. *sigh!
Hey 45 degrees, but just had a male at the feeder in the front.
Filled my feeders last night. One was completely empty this morning...unfortunately, it is leaking :( It was my favorite one too. Filled 3 others so I have a bit of time before it needs replacing.
WOW, dellrose! I feel fortunate to have at least two in Philadelphia.
I saw my first on 4/23--a female--then a male a couple of days later. I have seen the male several times since, but not the female. Last year I saw as many as 7 at one time in late summer. They were not into sharing, so I had to count who was in the tree, who was battling in the air, who was actually on the feeder, who was on a nearby feeder, etc.
I have 7 feeders up and have been tracking them for years......I plant lots of things for them, too.
Wow 7 feeders! Good luck spikemom.
Just saw another male at the Honeysuckle that is in full bloom.
Awwww, those flying jewels must know exactly when and where to find blooming honeysuckles, lol. Just as mine are faded (Honeysuckles blooms) now they seek them out at Pelle's place :) Also, while I was working out in the garden this morning. I got buzzed. Yes, hummingbird's buzz! I looked up and there was this beautiful boy checking out my nectar feeder. I'm one happy camper now. I thought, due to the bad wather we've had lately, they have all gone off and left us. But, I was wrong. Thankfully.
I've only seen one, but didn't have a camera in hand. My one feeder is up, but the jewel hasn't returned - yet.
Hack
Finally my hummingbirds arrived, male and female. I will try to get some pictures. I just love them.
Congratulations Glendalm!
Nice one Mrs. Ed and congrats to you Glendalm!
I am seeing a male pretty often...mostly out on the oriole feeder tho! He even buzzed me this morning and chattered at me!
They're delightful little jewels.
Burn, he's gorgeous! Nice capture. I saw one on my Salvia again this morning, but he's too quick for me.
Thank you, Kim
