Glad to hear from you, Louise. Hope Easter weather will be warm for you in CT. Was talking to DH's BIL a few days ago, & he said the snow was lingering in the shade at Mascoma Lake. It's 40 here going to 55.....have lots of raking to do today.....

Was 61 when I came in this afternoon. It was cool but beautiful. Spring break begins for me. I'll be home all next week as the trip got cancelled. Hurray! Now if the weather will just cooperate.

I couldn't get warm today. I gave up around 2:30 and came inside. Car thermometer said 50º, but it felt more like 40º.

I loved it today! Worked like a dog so the lower temps were welcome. There is a huge pile out front for the town to pick up.

I was out all day....town picks up nothing, so I continue to bag for the brush dump....temp was perfect for working, & I have either a sunburn or windburn.....

We 'played' outside all day. WEll, part of the day anyway. Got a lot done. Then the kidlings came over and got 'more' done. heehee. WE are having a sleepover tonight. Too cold to put up the tent so, they are in sleeping bags on the floor. They are too funny.

Froze my tushie off at the b-ball game, made it to the 6th inning then my daughter started complaining her fingers were frozen

Cloudy and 43. Have to drive in this mess tonight. Going away party for my aunt in Jersey. Hopefully, the weather will improve for the rest of the week when we're on vacation.

Miserable out here, WC. It says 42 degrees but feels like winter. I did get more than two hours of gardening done but it just isn't fun in this weather.

Oh yay!!! I can't wait to get up to those cool temps!! We're in prison down here. We outdoor people have to stay inside here or die of dehydration from excessive sweating! It's just not in my blood to sit inside an air conditioned house all day. We'll be heading out of here early on Tuesday morning and will be on the road for a week before we land. Don't worry if I disappear again for awhile. I know I've been an infrequent visitor lately, but I'm taking care of business and will get back to normal once I get up to the farm. I'll be able to lurk a bit on the road, but won't be able to jump in until we land. My son tells me that we may be in time to see his magnificent magnolia tree that is just starting to bloom, so I'm excited about that.

They are calling for 1-1/2 to 2" of rain and wind. They say April showers but this sounds like a wind chilling monsoon!!!!!!

It was nasty out today....cold & damp & cloudy....took the dogs for their walk, then worked outside for an hour....had to take a hot bath, couldn't get warm! Son called & said it was 39 at his house...that was about 4:00.....

37 and raw! Storm coming in, lots of rain, have severe weather warnings because of the winds tonight. Should start around midnight and be gone by noontime tomorrow.

Bitter, raw, windy and miserable here. Worked outside on an herb garden with a group briefly this morning, but the winds started and the temp has dropped since then. It's been raining since late afternoon and now we have flood watch in the area. This is my first day of spring break and the weather forecast for the next 4 or 5 days is miserable. Boo hoo!

Went to sleep with pouring rain and howling winds. This morning is a struggle between clouds and sun. It is 47 degrees, breezy and sunny as I type. Forecast is for diminishing chances of rain. My rain gauge had 2-1/4 inches in it which covered about 36 hours.
