If you'd like to know about the history of our town (Newark, Ohio), this site is really neat. There are newspaper articles, ads, photos...They concentrated on the years 1799-1920 and there is just so much here. I just found this site tonight while searching for something else in local history. I've been photographing a lot in the local cemeteries - love the stonework, epitaphs and the history - and it will be neat to learn about the families whose names I've read on the monuments. History Buffs
GW, I remember driving through a pretty little town in Ohio years ago...Andover? on the PA border. It had the neatest town square. I hope it is still the same. Another town I thought was nice was Hagerstown, MD, and Homestead, Fl (before the storm that wiped it about out), and York, Pa, and.........too many to list! I love to see new places. Jo
Me too!
