I heard from Smockette today and if all goes well I am heading to her house Friday and we will be there Sunday. I don't have anything to trade but will come for the fellowship. my most favorite part :o) I know we will bring something for food just not sure what.
i have bad news... my husband drives over the road and is gone 3-4 weeks at a time. he relies solely on dispatch to bring him home so we never know. it's been 3 weeks this time, so he'll be home this weekend. we had two trees fall in our backyard after damage from pine beetles, so they need to be removed and then the fence repaired this weekend when he's home. we also have two other trees to cut down before they fall and do serious damage to the house or garden shed (mower, etc.)
my three friends who were going to join me have never been to a plant swap, and although i told them they are welcome without me, they want to wait until the next one.
i'm sorry guys...
Gosh, I'm sorry to drop out at the last minute. We've had a customer call and want DH up at their site Saturday for a start-up and DH wants me to come along. So duty calls. I'll miss you all but hope to catch up with you this fall! Have a lovely day!
Ok kids I know we have loves lookout and I will be there bright and early (8am) to save the spot as it is first come first get.

Smockette and I are coming. I am bringing a 2ltr of Sam's cola, one of Sam's diet cola and 1 of Sam's Dr. Thunder.
Smockette is making a sopapilla cheesecake. (sp.)
Really looking forward to seeing everyone more than trading plants. The plants are just the icing on the cake.

I've got the cooler loaded in the car and will stop and get ice and a jug of sweet tea and I also have cups ...if we need anythign else we can run to the store once everyone gets there and grab whatever else w will need
I got called into work today so I didn't get anything made unless something strikes me yet tonight LOL
I'll be there by 8am so anyone already in the area is welcome to come sit with me while I save our spot.
