Me (Becky) and Lyle... I always bring the dogs.... what do you think?? Maybe something new this year? And a dessert. hehe.. I meant hot dogs... I imagine the pups will come too, but they eat anything..LOL
I will be there and possibly with my DH and son. I will bring anything. Probably some type of salad and a dessert. Maybe a sugar free cheesecake.

Checked MapQuest and I'm just a little more than 2 hrs. from Jax--yea!
Will start now getting things ready to trade and put together a trade list (actually can start that now).

Getting excited now.... will be working this week & weekend to get some things potted up so they'll be pretty for the swap. May also be bringing some pots to trade.
I'll try to be there. Broke two fingers last weekend and had emergency surgery Thursday. If they take the wires out before, then I'm coming! Don't know what to bring, maybe hot dog buns....Did I hear hot dogs are coming?
Awe, Terri, I broke 2 fingers a month ago, not fun. But I did not have to have surgery, at least not yet! Praying yours heal quickly!

We are doing good but our pc's are not. We fix one and the other one goes down. We were planing on coming but now Maggi is going to house sit in Fort Worth, so we will not be there. I still have some plants from last fall that needs to get in the ground. We will just have to catch everyone in the Fall, Have fun everyone.

Is this a pavilion? I've been to several swaps at different locations, and found they're all set up a little different.

BTW, I need to add 2-3 friends as tagalongs... and I'm pretty sure they'll be bringing food and/or drink, and also something to trade.
bring your chairs .and what ever else you would bring to spend the day outside with friends.. we have Pavilionss with picnic tables to eat at.but we spread out around it with our stuff. I usually bring my chairs and a small table to set my drink on while Im wandering around.. bring plant markers in case what you get isnt marked and some boxes to put your haul in to make it easy to carry back to your car or truck
Ive a truck so I bring my yard wagon for hauling all the stuff Im giving away and getting in return back and forth to the truck .. its not a far walk to where we will be from the parking lot but I have mobility issues so I try to do things the easy way...
last roundup at loves that I was at everyone was using the yellow wagon...lol..
gotcha! i used to go to a swap in Llano and it was a pretty good walk to the pavilion. we too spread out, and brought our chairs. a couple others i went to, there were plenty of benches all around. i have a garden cart on wheels, but it's not very small. i swear i'm going to invest in another red wagon! that was ideal!!! i used to use my little girl's wagon for all kinds of gardening things--she enjoyed gardening with me, and loved that we did.

I have a picture of a past RU at Love's Lookout, you can see it is spacious and has a large pavillion; the parking and restrooms aren't far either. People set up in the shade of trees when it is hot weather.
