Thanks. Another one I like.
Spring Blooms - 2011!!
Nice!
Love those dark helle's!
very nice shots Victor
Nice Victor...the dark helli is great!
Beautiful photos, Victor. The last one is my favorite.
nice shots JoAnn
Very nice shots. I am still cleaning my garden beds. Found a few lupine volunteer seedlings that I am excited about.
Its so amazing those teeny things get big enough to produce such large blooms.
Gorgeous hellebores! Didn't know they were that dark....the woman living in the condo next door to my friend moved out, leaving a very large clump of blooming red hellebores.....very tempting!
do it Marilyn!!
Lots of color variety in them.
I'm afraid she'll be back to check on things....the condo hasn't sold yet....don't want my friend to face her wrath, which believe me, is a fearsome thing. She came to one beautification meeting, & when I told her what she was calling campanula was really adenorpha, she stormed out. Oh, well!
Woah there. Guess its wise to be prudent where she is concerned.
We could devote an entire thread to plants we gave the wrong names to way back before we knew better. Some are rather amusing.
I think I have those daffs and also was disappointed they were more yellow than orange.
Nice Jen!
Very nice. Like the emerging crocus shot.
Nice pushkinia shot, WC.
Victor, I love your close-ups and clump shot of the hellebores.
Jo, your hellebores are looking good, too.
Marilyn, I'd be out there in the middle of the night with a shovel.
Great shots, Jen. I see you got down on the ground.
Karen
Pretty! Nice shot of the snake. I love the garter snakes. Glad we don't have any poisonous ones in our area.
Karen
Thanks Karen.Looks like I have a family of three snakes, four fox cubs and a bunch of ground hogs and since we got the puppy last year my deer have been hesitant to come, so I actually have tulips this year that are about to bloom.
Good luck on keeping the ground hog away. Hope he doesn't eat too much of your stuff.
Karen
Love the pink , yellow and blue together ....you can keep the snake YUK!
flowAjen, I doubt that it is Narcissus Martinette as that is Division: 8 - Tazetta Colors: Y - O Narcissus and what you have in the photo is a division 11 or split cup Narcissus. Martinette is also very fragrant. My guess, only a wild guess is that it could be Narcissus Cassata. Here are some shots of them in our garden, not this year yet. Patti
