This is a soldier beetle (Coleoptera: Cantharidae) in the genus Chauliognathus, either Chauliognathus lugubris or C. pulchellus - see http://tinyurl.com/6xd3cj7 and http://tinyurl.com/48uqagu for images. These beetles are general predators on other small arthropods.
