My dog does the same thing, lays on the back of the couch in the sun and will move around the room as the sun moves.

Pets are bored with the cold too.

I have blooms in the house........this is viola 'Etain' I got as a large plug a few weeks ago. I was extremely pleased to see not one, but 2 blooms on it this week.
