I grow Lenten Rose and Christmas Rose (Helleborus x hybridus and Helleborus niger). I collect the seeds every year, and I want to start trading them. Will my seeds grow true even though one plant is hybrid? Thanks for the help!
Hybrid seeds - how do I know if my seeds will grow true?
Hybrids seldom come true. Often they come back as one of the parents.
Helleborus seeds are short viable. You need to sow them within 3 months after harvest, or within 6 months of you stored them moist.
