The neighbors mobile home was removed from their property last fall and I made my way over to salavage these seeds for the peril of never being flowers! lol
However, I have no idea what they are!
can you help?

thanks! do I need to stratify the seed before planting?
I have never stratified them. You can speed germination by placing them in warm water for several hours to overnight before you sow them. You can sow them in situ after frost or indoors a few weeks before plant out.
In my area, which is a bit cooler than yours, the tubers overwinter in the ground and persist for years. If the site where the home sat remains undisturbed plants should emerge there once temps are consistently warm. If you like those plants you can dig up the tubers and replant them where you would like them.

Alana, I wish I had known that before they went and built a HUGE new house on top of all of those sleeping plants! Now they are buried in the foundation! ugh!
No worries. They are very easy from seed, too.
