When is the best time to plant oriental lily bulbs in zone 5?
When to plant?
If you order now they will come in April. I plant all lilies when they come .The first year they bloom a month late but after that they return and the orientals bloom in July here.
You can plan anytime the soil is not frozen in your zone.
I have planted lilies in November in NJ and mid summer, too
