CLOSED: What insect made this nest?

Sarasota, FL

My daughter and I are trying to identify a very intereesting nest we found hanging in one of our trees. There were Ants, both large and small and, I believe wasps crawling all over the branches. I was trimming dead branches off when I notice the appearance of these insects. Soom after I noticed this nest and a smaller one just like it.
Can anyone tell us what insect this nest belongs to? We are also interested in how the insect creates this nest. The nest as you will see in the photos attached, is built of small sticks from the tree, cut to small pieces to form the nest. There is also a white "bulb" at the end of the nest. I tried to download additional pictures, but was unable to.
Thank you All!

I could not see any image)s_ attached to this post. Have a look at a bagworm (Thyridopteryx ephemeraeformis; Lepidoptera: Psychidae) cases at http://tinyurl.com/4kppgqo and http://tinyurl.com/4l35blb to see if this may be what you may have.

That was great! The first site you posted opened to a large picture of the nest. Thank you so much; I would never have guessed it was made by a moth. Pretty good on your part when my photo did not even show up. Now all I have to do is figure out how to attach photos here. It looked like the usual 'browse' format.

On posting pictures, sometimes it is easier to load the picture first, hit preview then type your text after you see the picture.
