We have large numbers of this insect at our new house in Southern California. Can anyone identify it for us? It's kind of like a Box Elder Beetle, but not exactly. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
CLOSED: Red and Black Insect
I found it on another site. It's a firebug. It feeds on mallow, which covers the yard. So that's the answer.
