Dave dreaming

Mysore, India(Zone 10a)

Most of us are apt to day-dreaming. But anyone experienced "Dave-dreaming"? I really did last night. I was visiting America with my family and visiting Dave and his family! He had taken us round in his 'open car'...some shopping center..lots of bustling people....There was some Trish and her kids as well.....but no garden! It was a real dream. I had seen Dave in his homepage holding a plant a couple of days ago. Perhaps this was in my sub-conscious. Look how deep DG has gone into me.

Rapid City, SD(Zone 5b)

I haven't had any dreams about Dave yet, but that was before I saw the picture with the love lies bleeding hair on the photo forum - now I will probably see red "hair" in all my dreams!

heheheh this is too funny. Dinu, it sounds like your dream was a good one, and lots of fun was had. Well, I am honored that I was able to be your host and keep you entertained while you slept. :)

Almost eleven years on, I dug this up to refer for my upcoming blog. About my gardening story.

Dinu,
An old piece of writing, esp of your own, is like an old bottle of wine -- sip a goblet and enjoy the sweetness brought forth by the flowing time.
Recently, I also dug up a few of my old DG forums. While re-reading those oldies, I could not help thinking of the persons and the things at that time. Now and then I sighed or giggled...
will post some latest pictures soon.

Jianhua,
Well done! It is a really fine feeling to do the digging up. I also remember you had made for some other DG some metal thing and sending. Still wondering what it was. May be I'll dig your threads to find out more. It was certainly a nice thing.

Thanks for your poetic reply, you are back to your original self. Do keep writing, do keep sharing pictures.

Dinu,
You got some old, classical DG posts. Dig more up and have a show. I will follow suits.

Yarden! Yes, it was you who gave me that word in some threads. Loved it. Used it in my blog. I've given credit to you in another post that is not yet published. It is still in the draft stage. I've also used a photo. Hope you wont mind it. The blog is about my yard/garden. At present there is only one posting. "My gardening story" is not yet up. Still gathering material - it is in 3 parts in 3 posts. So look out, my dear friend... and also my other friends.

Dinu,
your posts are always appreciated, and I hope more will come out. BTW, you can use my pictures in your yarden stories without the prior agreement.

AAAAH. Two of my favorite "poets". Dinu....Give us some new pictures!. Jianhua....how is "# 2 son" doing? I'm sure he is very big now.

I just became Great Grandmother again. My granddaughter that is in the U. S. Navy just gave birth to a daughter Loran Ashley. I will be called Grandnan. Jo

Jo, so nice! I think Jianhua's sons names are Bowang and Bochang, if my memory is right. The second is growing up fast.
I have many pictures in my blog also, Jo. Linked in the above post. I also share many in the photos forum, in Daily Pics series. You are not seen there! I send you some e-mails also once in a while. Are you getting?
Grandnan Jo, great to be GGM! Wonderful. So Loran Ashley is a 'distant relative'!! :)

Yees, I get your beautiful emails!

Loren (I spelled it wrong) is the 4th generation in my family. I won't get to meet her until about Feb.

I never seem to get into blogs. Jo

Merry Christmas to you all!
Being busy with my second boy Bochang as well as school teaching reduces my online activities. But I am thinking of you all along. The little one (now 3.5 years old) is growing up fast. Now he can count the numbers from 1 to 100 and chant the 26 English letters with one breath, and the Chinese phonetical letters smoothly. You tell him one thing, and he can think of three things alike. I feel very content to have this boy when I am into my 40s. He is at kindergarten, so I can save more time to be online in future.

Bochang will be a real blessing to you as he gets older and as you age also. I had my last child at about the same age as you were when you had him...what fun we had as she grew up....and still do as she faces her only child turning 18 yo.

Thank you for the Christmas Blessings and I wish you and yours a very Merry Chrismas also.....and a healthy and prosprous New Year. Jo

Jianhua,
It so nice to hear again after a long break. I often think of you too and wonder if you had seen my occasional e-mails I forward to you. Now I understand your predicament. Bochang is growing into a nice boy. Second children are generally more intelligent than the first one which you will discover. I'm also sure Bowang also is on his way into a fine life ahead. When Bochang will have a full day school, you will get a bit more time. Here, the LKG is half day for sometime and then the UKG is full day routine.
Happy New Year to you and also Jo.
