I agree. We love the little villages and the quaint shops.
The Chick goes GREEN
Is the chick dressing for St. Paddy's, Jo? The airedale rescue sent lots of photos of dales with hats, & sweaters, & Irish whiskey, with lovely Irish sayings next to them....
I regret to say Chick is German and really rigid as far as what holidays it celebrates.
In my chats with Chick there was mention of partying on VE -Day.
No costumes of course.

Too cute!
:)
I remember your flock of kitchen chicks....love them!
We have a few roosters here who would like to meet those chicks.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to you as well.
I have banned these guys from the deck for the summer.
Last year they showed up with friends, drank too much, stayed too long and even tho there is a size limit they went into the hot tub.
I have large amounts of chicken broth frozen in the fridge if any one is interested.
They came last night and did the drinking thing to the max.
What bores.
Do I smell Chicken Fricassee?
Just those 2.Tough Roosters
They look like toughies......
Between the hot tub, chicks and partying it's sounding like they had cabin fever or coop fever, too!
Didn't we all, after this past winter ?!?
Still have it with snow in forecast!
Oh no! Frozen chicken again?
Throw em in the hot tub to thaw them out!
poor chicka!
poor chick :(
Its melting quite fast.
Hang in there, TinChicken !
Good advice for us all!
At least it didn't forget its comb. ☺
Just a few missteps along the path to spring.
Snow is melting.
Not fast enough of course.
Sunny day up in southern Vt, so more melting going on, but the driveways are bare already. DH off for the last 2 days of skiing for him for the season. He could have taken little chick on a thrill ride down the mt in his pocket. Maybe next season. Nantucket had snow yesterday too, but I was in Boston and there were just some flurries. Snow crocus were really snow crocus for a change. White shoes are in, white ground, OUT. Patt
In the photo, strip of green ground near fence is an"upper."
Ohhhhdefinatly YES. Spots of green on the lawns make the currant snow showers and sunny periods tollerable.
I know I answered Pattis post with a desire Chick made to stock car race but today there was mention of 4 Wheeling in mud. I just dont know where these ideas come from.
Chick might be sneeking in to watch TV.
No stock car, but I could arrange a sail in the sound. Patti
he he
With a handsome rooster?
I cant speak for chick. The mud biking was chicks idea.
Sailing with a handsome guy sounds dreamy.
Tell chick to back-up.
Dumb as a stump
Glad to see the snow marching away!
