Camellia preferences

I have 5 camellia's I received in trade .. I am new to this shrub and do not know if the ones I got are sasanqua or japonica. I'd like to put them in an area that gets full sun until about 1pm then shade. Can someone tell me if they can tolerate this? Also do they mind wet feet?

I have a japonica that gets some morning sun part of the year but mostly shade, and it's doing well. While the soil they're in is fairly nice, it's clay underneath so I'm sure they spend time with wet feet.

My neighborhood was built on a swamp and if it rains a lot, the area I want to put the camellias in is like a sucking quagmire for a few days .. luckily the people who had the house before I did must have spent thousands of dollars incorporating pea gravel into the ground for drainage.
