Wondering here too....do let us know pelle what you think of it.
The RT Hummingbird migration has started!!!
New thread started for Ruby-throated Hummingbirds. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1172788
Actually this is a thread for migration talk (what your doing to prepare for their arrival etc.) and the other thread is for photos so this one can stay open for a little while longer till most of us have seen our FOS (first of season) Hummingbird.
That's such a nice idea. We get to 'see' what time frame each region get to see their hummingbird arrival. I think I now have a female that just newly arrived in the garden. The FOS was male, then more males. But yesterday and today I finally see the gals. lol.
OK,. Sorry. At least the link will take you there if you wish.
Woo hoo....just had a hummer buzz the feeder!
Congrats Nan!
Congratulations nanny!
jeeze, that's great. With this lousy weather, even more wonderful!
Just saw my FIRST HUMMINGBIRD of the season !!! A mature male.
And my 1st hummer! It's a boy. Should I break out the (blue banded) cigars? Nah. Guess a glass of red wine will have to do. Here's to a happy hummer summer!
Congrats Pelle!!!! GM (Still waiting for mine to arrive.....)
Congrats everyone! I have had 2 males for nine days and this evening another 2 showed up and the first female. I think the stormy weather is bringing them in and it is starting to feel like the party is about to begin!!
Yooohooo, Rose! Please share some with me. 'Cause seem as if you've got them all (in number) most years. lol
I haven't seen mine again but we did have storms and very heavy rain yesterday.
My first hummer has arrived!!! Tonight approx 5:45 East Coast Time. Adult male!!! So excited!!! GM
Happy for you GM
