When ever I have a plant that is having problems, I use peroxide 3 per cent
and water. This seems to balance the soil and whatever is wrong with the
plant. Has anyone else ever tried this?
sick plants
I just started using it yesterday after I saw white fuzz on a couple of newly emerging tomato plants. I did a big online research about damping off and peroxide looked like a clear winner for that. Apparently it also fertilizes and helps strong root growth, so I'll be using it for everything.
I put 2 Tablespoons in a quart spray bottle and used it on all my seedlings. The fuzz is gone from the tomatoes and tney have sprung up beautifully. They are planted in pre-made coir cells in mini- greehouse containers, which I don't think I'll use again. I had the covers on for help with germination and I guess they got too wet. I prefer seed or potting mix and plastic containers, find them easier to control.
