Don't give up . . . . there are 60-ish calls left, and it could go either way. Remember how the last bingo game went down to the wire . . .

Montgomery, AL

I couldn't scroll to find 'Moonshine' on the link.
Here's a picture of my chirita 'USBRG-98-083' which is now called 'Vietnam'. The pics blurry, but you can see how it is starting to form suckers and the leaves are hairy with a reddish tint. It's in an Oyama pot, but really needs to go dry between watering.

Forgot the picture!

Here's 'Stardust'. Her lower leaf tips are yellowing. That can mean it needs a larger pot, but this is already in a 3in. I keep it dry. Thoughts?

I wonder why you couldn't see Moonshine?Did you look under Northwoods?

Is it 'frosted moonshine'? I did not know streps came variegated! Beautiful.

(Lynn) Omaha, NE(Zone 5a)

Yes it is.Variegated Streps. are beautiful, but it takes a little more effort to keep them that way.

I'm thinking it's time we had a wee bit more fun with bingo this weekend . . .

I know that some of you remember Bingo Hats of the Past . . .

One week from today, I would like to see entries from each bingo player sporting their best Bingo Hat. You have 7 days to post your pic . . . that's a whole week (including a weekend!) to work on your project . . . Each picture will be entered into a drawing . . . prize for this game will be a standard size african violet (my choice). Plant to be mailed when weather permits on both sides.

This will be fun, don't you think?

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

Calls for today:

18 AV: Rob' s Lucky Penny
34 AV: Startrick

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

Bingo Hats of the Past ??
Please help me out alittle, what's this?

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

I believe Jan started us off with it . . . she made a bingo hat, with the theory that it would improve esp chances of getting more calls on her list made. Lou and Gail did a hat as well, and if I look really hard, then I've got a pic of one myself . . . I'll look later this am and see if I can't find the one Lou did.

The above links should explain (I hope) what I mean by Bingo Hat. It can be fun, and the time goes by fast.

Hillbilly Gran you are a good sport!
The kiddos are so cute!

I have begun to think of Dg like facebook. Anything you post in the spirit of whimsy haunts you forever. I will be more discerning in the future.

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

The whole bingo hat thing was supposed to be a fun thing. Nobody has to do it, just something to spice the game up again.

I've removed your link, Hillbilly_Gran . . . but if you want nobody to see that pic ever again, you'll have to find the original post, and see if you can delete the pic.
