Today my husband finished the cloner has spots for 42 cuttings, got in red twig dogwood, black pussy willow (I know did not need to put that in anything but water) and several species fuchsia's
I am so excited cannot wait for things to start budding up so I can take cuttings and try it out.

I have just been waiting for you to post a picture. Nice!!!Nice!! How tall is your H stand. I'm building one also and am at a stand still as to how close the sprayers need to be. I was thinking of making the legs 7 inches for a 18 gal tub. Have fun with your new toy.
Any roots yet? Oh, just two days may be not.
No roots yet, but ours is 20 gallon and we have the legs (H) at 7" and the misters are hitting the roots just great, one thing to really watch is to see if the top leaks mine does and going to get some really narrow form and glue to top to seal better

What is a cloner and how does it work? Is this better than propagating in plain water or soil? Is there a top for this that you put plants in? How does that work?
Sorry for all the questions, but this is a new thing to me.
Please tell us all about this....I am fascintated!!
