central, NJ(Zone 6b)

ok going back to the topic on the other thread....how incredibly sad....how about the public library pics...I don't understand why the government didn't auction off all those books and equipment...hello???? I'm sure other states/cities would have been interested in some of that.

Hard to believe that's a city in the US

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Oh man! Sorry Andy

Thomaston, CT

It's amazing that so much was just left to deteriorate.....someone must of been responsible for the upkeep.....

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Very sad to see so many ruins in Detroit. Great documentary photography, though.

Jo, that was cute about the global warming.

Andy, sorry about your tree. Pretty much all my birch trees are ruined. Will be cutting them down soon.

Karen

Thomaston, CT

Oh, too bad, Karen & Andy....hate to see that kind of damage!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

I know, Marilyn, me too. Very sad.

Karen, the birches will likely sprout below the break. I lost one at the 6 foot level which will make it bushy.

this pond is created by a beaver dam which you usually have to ski over to avoid the stream - not now with the cool weather we've had.
