Kevin Lee Jacobs, owner of a wonderful blogspot called A house for a garden has some beautiful tulips planted with grape hyacinths. He says they are called Purple flag tulips but when I google that name, it always comes up with darker purple. Maybe it's the way the light was shining on the tulips when the picture was taken or my computer monitor. They have a rose/lavender color and remind me of silk pongee(?)fabric. Breathtaking beautiful! I just might have to add those to my wish list of bulbs that I order in the Fall.
