This appears to be Metaltella simoni, an introduced species in the family Amphinectidae - see http://tinyurl.com/475j9l7 for an image, and http://tinyurl.com/4uev43z for more detailed information. These spiders resemble hacklemesh spiders (family Amaurobiidae), and once were thought to belong to that family.
M. simoni is a strong possibility. But, given the region, I would think that one of the northern varieties of Callobius severus is more likely. These species can look almost identical.
I agree that Callobius severus also could be a possibility, but something about this specimen just didn't 'seem right' to me. Unfortunately, the only sure way to tell them apart is through microscopic examination - see http://tinyurl.com/4fwfz2z
