I pictured this guy last summer in Central Florida in my backyard, can't find anything on Internet like it.

This appears to be a caterpillar of a southern pink-striped oakworm moth (Anisota virginiensis pellucida; Lepidoptera: Saturniidae) - see http://tinyurl.com/46r5fd2 for images and more detailed information.

That's it, and ya know I've seen that moth before a long time ago, not very common. Thanks so much I spent many days trying to figure this one out.

You're quite welcome; other members of the genus Anisota are widely distributed in eastern and southern states.

That is a gorgeous moth and caterpillar. What do they eat?
